Tom’s Midnight Garden by Philippa Pearce

mardi 28 février 2017, par S. Dupont.

Tom is going to his aunt and uncle’s house for the summer because his brother Peter has got measles. As he lies awake in his bed, he can hear the clock striking midnight. But instead the clock strikes thirteen ! Tom goes downstairs and finds behind the back door a beautiful garden that nobody said existed. He is angry with his aunt and uncle that have not told him that there was a garden here. But at day time there is no garden at all...

I liked this book a lot because of all the adventures Tom has in the past and in his own time. It is very well written but it was quite difficult to read for me.
